Informations :

 it is at the center of the country, on the Mediterranean, 270 km in the south of
 the Tunis capital   and approximately at 140 km in the south of Sousse.
 The surface of Sfax is 700 800 ha for about 900 000 inhabitants.

   History :

  Sfax was a Roman city, she knew an important development to the time Aghlabide.
  Thanks to its strategic localization, its port has been used like a port of first importance by the powers
  of the Axis , before  being  taken  by  Allies in 1943. Today , Sfax  is the second port (city) in Tunisia.

Sfax is not mainly a tourist pole, it is rather a commercial metropolis which radiates on all the south and even on the center, it is known in Tunisia by its significant economic and commercial activity , by its souks and its nationals and international fairs.
