When is the next PageRank Update?

An often-asked question! But what is the answer and is it really important?

The PR displayed in the Google Toolbar is updated every 3 to 6 months, but google updates the PageRank, backlinks and its index data continually and continuously, and no one knows when it will update on the toolbar.

Forget PR and continue to build up the number of links to your website(s) using your optimised keywords …

Why cant google let us know when the next update will be ?
I cant see what the big deal is here, some please explain.

I think that even Google don’t know it, because it's an automated process. When the robots finish indexing all pages (old and new ones) the new PR values will be published.
Next Update is in July

Last time it was around April 25th and Google does it every 3 months.

So I say end of July.

i have seen changes in my PR and its is true to say that the google system is now updating, at http://www.googlebugs.com there are results and stats that show this has happened.
